Less Than 24 Hours...

Until real football starts!! Both ND and Iowa kick off their 2009 seasons tomorrow afternoon. More on that later though.

Work today was good. I had a meeting with my internship supervisor and the ND program director. My meeting was the first of the semester, eventually everybody will have one. We didn't really talk about much, since it's only the second week of my internship, but it was nice to get it out of the way. Then, towards the end of the day, they let us leave a half hour early!

On the way home, I decided to try to go find a Spencer's so I could get a baseball cap with Animal from the Muppets on it. Unfortunately, my idea of assuming that if there was a mall in Bethesda it would be right at the Bethesda Metro stop. It was not. So I came home hatless.

Then a small group of us went back down to the National Mall for jazz music at the National Sculpture Garden. We got there a little late so we were only able to walk around because there was no where to sit. We're going back next week after work in order to fully enjoy the experience.

No we're back at the apartment watching football. Getting up early tomorrow to go to the Farmers' Market behind our building and then get pumped up for the game.
